The Paris Charles de Gaulle International airport, known also as the Roissy airport (or simply Roissy) is the largest airport in France, and the second busiest passenger airport in Europe and seventh in the world.

The Paris Roissy airport has three terminals: Terminal 1 (CDG 1), Terminal 2 (CDG 2), which includes six halls (2A, 2B, 2C, 2D, 2E e 2F) and T3 (or CDG 3), which houses charter and low cost airlines. Passengers going from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2 (and viceversa) to go from one international flight to another, can use the free shuttle service.

How to reach the Paris Charles de Gaulle airport

The Paris Charles de Gaulle airport is 25 km north of Paris. Line B of the rapid RER train service connects the airport to Paris. The airport is served by two stops: the RER-CDG1 for terminals 1 and 3, and the RER-CDG2 for terminal 2 and the others.The TGV has a station that serves the airport on the high-speed rail line LGV Interconnexion Est, which connects to the Northern line towards Lille/London and to the South-West line towards Lyon/Marseille.

CDGVAL is an above ground metro that transfers passengers going to the RER and TGV stations, or to the car parks PR or PX, and works 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, every 4 minutes during the day and every 20 minutes at night (from 11 pm to 5 am).
