Helvetic Airways

Helvetic Airways was born in 2001 as Odette Airways, and is re-established as Helvetic Airways in 2003. The Swiss air company with headquarters in Zurich, mainly links the destinations of: Brindisi, Catania, Lamezia Terme, Palermo, Skopje, Jerez de la Frontera and Zurich. Helvetic Airways offers further destinations as charter flights for various tour operators depending on the season and density of air traffic.

The fleet uses passenger aircrafts such as "Fokker 100", of which it owns 4, each with a capacity for 100 passengers and considered to be the most reliable carriers. Many companies have participated in the manufacture of Helvetic Airways aircraft, whilst the engines are made by Rolls Royce.

Peculiarity: according to some blogs, Helvetic Airways offers leg room on board for people with longer than average legs. The in-flight magazine in published monthly by the company and is called "Mare Helveticum".
