Ryanair is a low cost, Irish airline with its headquarters in Dublin. It is one of the largest, low cost airlines: its services over 200 routes in around twenty countries.

Ryanair was the first European, low cost airline founded in 1985 and imported into Europe the low cost, American model to compete against European, national airlines by offering a no-frills, low cost service with hubs in smaller airports willing to offer lower landing charges.

Ryanair is a member of the ELFAA - The European Low Fares Airline Association.
