Most clubs don't open until midnight, but after that you can dance the night away with the locals until dawn. Some of the most famous clubs are 360, Akab, Bloom, and Piper to name but a few. If the nightclub scene isn't your thing the Room offers up a plateau of amazing restaurants and local culture.

Popular areas with the locals are Via del Corso and Via Cola di Rienzo. The latter is located north of the Vatican and is the commercial heart of the Prati neighbourhood. Window shopping is always an option if your pockets are not that deep, with streets filled with the biggest names in Italian fashion, then head over to Via Condotti. Here you will find other big fashion names like Prada, Cavalli, Gucci and many others.
Do not miss the outdoor flea markets either. One of the most famous markets is the Porta Portese which opens on Sundays. Here you can find anything from clothes to art and from music to jewellery. Even if you do not intend to buy anything, visiting a market in Rome is an experience in itself.
